Photograph of Megatrends Technology Series Sustainability EventMegatrends Series was launched in 2023 to provide a platform for Technology Thought Leaders to come together with Business and Industry leaders to discuss considerations for key emerging technologies. Rather than hosting a deep dive technology discussion, the panelists share their insights and perspectives about the application and use-cases of these technologies, including the potential benefit, risk, commercial considerations, and societal impact of these technologies.

The panel typically includes a diversity of speaker backgrounds from Researchers, Corporate/Tech Leaders to Venture Capitalists. Some of the companies and organizations who have participated include: HPE, Samsung, Nvidia, Google Cerebras, Meta, Marvell Technology, Synopsis, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Plug and Play Ventures, and SF Ventures.

Topics have included Technology Predictions, AI, Sustainable IT Tech, and Digital Twins for Data Centers.

Impact Speaker Series

The Impact Speaker Series was launched in 2023 to highlight stories that have had a significant impact on technology. The first of the series featured Kathy Kleiman, author of the book Proving Ground: The Untold Story of the Six Women Who Programmed the World’s First Modern Computer.
